San Vincenzo - Rimigliano - Baratti - Piombino (car – motorcycle – bike)

Leaving San Vincenzo go on in the South direction to Piombino.

Skirting Rimigliano Park to arrive to the Gulf of Baratti you can go down to the beach or go on to reach the archaeological Etruskan Park with its acropolis and necropolis.

Going on the promontory again we advise you to visit the small village of Populonia with its castle before the Cornia Valley.

We advise people loving rocks and clean sea to visit the beach Buca delle Fate, through the small way between Baratti and Populonia, As it is steep and in the middle of the wood, it is not suitable for everybody.

Here there is another way you can ride bike skirting the promontory and arriving to Piombino.

Going back again on the statal street you reach Piombino after ten minutes. Don't get upset from the first things you see: the smoke of the chimneys of the steelworks and go to visit the very nice historical centre.
